Basketball Recap: Petaluma Takes a Loss

Petaluma had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish on Thursday, falling 74-40. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The win keeps Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Petaluma won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Patrick-St. Vincent at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Vintage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
