Volleyball Recap: Omaha Central Takes a Loss

Omaha Central lost against Omaha Westside back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

Ilana Briggs paced Omaha Central's offense, picking up two kills. Briggs got some help from Eliza Stockmann and her three assists. Presley Vacek controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Omaha Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Omaha Westside, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Omaha Central has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Bellevue East on the 21st. As for Omaha Westside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Elkhorn South on the 20th.
