Soccer Recap: Ida's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four matches, Ida finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Grosse Ile Red Devils, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Ida can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while Grosse Ile are ranked 37th).

Ida moved to 15-5-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Grosse Ile, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5-2.

Ida does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grosse Ile, they will face off against Flat Rock at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Grosse Ile will need to watch out since Flat Rock have now posted at least four goals in their last three games.
