Soccer Game Preview: Sierra Pacific vs. Immanuel

The Sierra Pacific Golden Bears will take on the Immanuel Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sierra Pacific has three straight wins, Immanuel has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

If Sierra Pacific beats Immanuel with two goals on Thursday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Sierra Pacific won by a goal and slipped past Reedley 2-1.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Immanuel's offense. They lost 6-0 to Selma on Tuesday. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Sierra Pacific has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those five games. As for Immanuel, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-4.
