Pompano Beach is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Stranahan a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes will be playing at home against the Stranahan Mighty Dragons at 7:00 p.m. Pompano Beach has given up an average of 42.4 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pompano Beach's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Hollywood Hills on Friday. They were outmatched by the Spartans and fell 41-0.

Meanwhile, while Stranahan put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Boyd Anderson. The Mighty Dragons put the hurt on the Cobras with a sharp 21-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Mighty Dragons in their matchups with the Cobras: they've now won six in a row.

Stranahan's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Pompano Beach, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-7.

Pompano Beach was dealt a bruising 48-3 defeat at the hands of Stranahan in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Golden Tornadoes, Opious Knox Jr (who threw for 229 yards and two TDs on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 63 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time.
