Volleyball Recap: Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs vs. St. Francis DeSales Stallions
Bloom-Carroll had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the St. Francis DeSales Stallions 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since September 18th.
Bloom-Carroll took St. Francis DeSales into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 23-25, 28-26, 25-23, 22-25, 15-10.
Sylvia Haughn paced Bloom-Carroll's offense, picking up 20 kills. Haughn got some help from Renee Smith and her 45 assists. Haughn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.
