Football Game Preview: San Dimas Saints vs. Northview Vikings + Official Tickets

The San Dimas Saints will face off against the Northview Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

San Dimas easily dispatched Diamond Ranch last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Saints fell just short of West Covina by a score of 23-20 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Northview entered their tilt with Diamond Ranch on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They breezed past the Panthers to the tune of 47-14. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 25 points or more this season.

Northview's win came from a few key players San Dimas will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Robert Lucero, who threw for 191 yards and three TDs on only 18 passes. Aaron Guillen helped Lucero out on the ground, rushing for 88 yards and one score on only ten carries, while also picking up 46 receiving yards.

Northview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 241 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 75.2 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five matchups they've averaged 212.

Northview's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for San Dimas, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

San Dimas was taken down by Northview 40-10 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Saints, Keanu Tauvao (who rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
