Volleyball Recap: South Webster Has No Trouble Against Portsmouth West

South Webster won the last time they faced Portsmouth West and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jeeps blew past the Senators 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jeeps.

South Webster found their leader in freshman Emma Campbell, who had five digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Campbell.

South Webster was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They are 11-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

South Webster's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Portsmouth West, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

South Webster didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Lynchburg-Clay on the 25th. Portsmouth West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
