Shaler Area pushed their record up to 14-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Fox Chapel, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Shaler Area will head out on the road to square off against North Allegheny at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Allegheny will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 166th, while Shaler Area is ranked eighth). As for Fox Chapel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Upper St. Clair at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper St. Clair is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
