Basketball Recap: Shelton Comes Up Short

Shelton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 45-34 to the Evergreen Plainsmen.

Shelton's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Evergreen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Shelton will challenge Capital at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Evergreen, they will face off against Lakes at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Lakes knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Evergreen likes a good challenge.
