Volleyball Recap: Mesa Takes a Loss

Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Red Mountain Mountain Lions, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountain Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-20.

Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 7-24. As for Red Mountain, they pushed their record up to 23-15 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mesa will face off against rival Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Red Mountain is set to square off against their familiar foe Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
