Football Game Preview: Moore Haven Terriers vs. Palmer Trinity Falcons

The Moore Haven Terriers will head out on the road to square off against the Palmer Trinity Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Moore Haven's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Somerset Academy South Homestead 28-0. The matchup marked the Terriers' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, Palmer Trinity entered their tilt with BridgePrep Village Green on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Bulldogs, posting a 38-6 victory. Considering the Falcons have won four contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

A big part of Palmer Trinity's win came down to the chemistry between Manny Coya and his top target Rafael Salvatierra. Coya threw for 141 yards and two TDs on only 11 passes while Salvatierra picked up 93 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 93 receiving yards gave Salvatierra a new career-high.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Palmer Trinity's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jaedon Gordon, Niccolo Blanzuoli, and Kaan Kinay, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in BridgePrep Village Green's side was Gordon, who picked up a sack and made eight total tackles.

Palmer Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Moore Haven, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
