Football Recap: Rochester Prep Takes a Loss

The Rochester Prep Tigers came up short against the Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles on Saturday and fell 20-8.

John Whitfield had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 216 yards and three scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry for Clyde-Savannah. With that strong performance, Whitfield is now averaging an impressive 106.4 rushing yards per game.

Rochester Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Clyde-Savannah, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Rochester Prep is taking a road trip to square off against Honeoye Falls-Lima at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clyde-Savannah, they will host Lyons/Sodus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
