Basketball Recap: Whitefield Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Whitefield Academy lost against Walker back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The WolfPack took a 77-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (67), the WolfPack still had to take the loss.

Walker's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but King Daniel Hernandez led the charge by putting up 17 points along with eight assists and five steals. Those five steals gave Hernandez a new career-high. Lorenzo McCorvey was another key player, scoring 12 points and seven rebounds.

Whitefield Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Walker, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Whitefield Academy has already played their next contest, a 43-42 loss against Business Engineering Science Tech on the 6th. As for Walker, they will square off against Fellowship Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
