Volleyball Recap: Calistoga Takes a Loss

If Calistoga was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Willits last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Credo Gryphon on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Gryphon earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-20, 25-6.

Calistoga has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for Credo, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Calistoga is set to square off against their familiar foe Roseland Collegiate Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Credo will challenge rival Victory Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
