Pyramid Lake extended their winning streak to 11 games thanks to a huge performance from Kaitlin Mandell. The Pyramid Lake Lakers came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 57-51 W against the North Valleys Panthers thanks in part to Mandell, who went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc on her way to 20 points and five steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Lara, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 11 points. What's more, she also posted four assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, North Valleys still got an impressive performance from Ivy Williams, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds. That was a full 41.2% of North Valleys' points, marking the third time in a row Williams has scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Emily Huff, who went 7-for-11 en route to 18 points.

Pyramid Lake's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 40.6 points. As for North Valleys, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-4.

Pyramid Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-25 win against Smith Valley on the 6th. As for North Valleys, they have also already played their next matchup, a 57-29 victory against Hug on the 5th.
