Softball Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends Central City's Winning Streak

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central City can now relate to. They came up short against the Kearney Catholic Stars on Wednesday, falling 15-6. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bison, who until this matchup were averaging 3.5 runs allowed.

Addie Burbach made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Juno Ryan, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
