Basketball Recap: Cary Falls to Enloe in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Cary unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 65-58 to the Enloe Eagles on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Gui Wilkins was nothing short of spectacular for Enloe: he shot 73% from the field to rack up 28 points and five boards. Those 73% field goal percentage gave Wilkins a new career-high. Preston Williams was another key player, putting up ten points and seven rebounds.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cary will host Apex at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Enloe, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against East Wake at 6:30 p.m.
