Fans got a thrill when Josh Ladowski and Corey Joyner connected against Salisbury. The connection was good for 75 yards, the longest such play in 4A/3A Conference 3 this season.

Landon Hammer of Alexander Central ran for the longest rushing play in the league this season against Bandys last week. Hammer ran for 57 yards on the play and finished with 71 on the day as his team topped the Trojans.

Lake Norman's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ladowski threw for 228 and 2 touchdowns and Joyner had 103 yards receiving. On the ground Ladowski contributed 155 yards. Baker White helped Lake Norman's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 52 yards.
