Basketball Recap: Pearl Comes Up Short

Pearl was the 52-46 winner over Pelahatchie when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Pearl Pirates fell 46-38 to the Pelahatchie Chiefs on Tuesday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pearl's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Pelahatchie, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pearl will take on Cleveland Central at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pelahatchie, they will face off against Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
