Taliya Mata put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Tuesday. She tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She was up against Hart and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in March of 2025. Mata has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
