Volleyball Recap: New Utrecht Comes Up Short

New Utrecht was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Hamilton Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

New Utrecht's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fort Hamilton, the win (which was their seventh in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Coincidentally, New Utrecht and Fort Hamilton will both be playing Madison the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Golden Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Utes will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
