Softball Recap: Bronson Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Bronson's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors a 16-0 shutout. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The team relied heavily on Brystal Howard, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in doubles. Tegan Barber also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Bronson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .676. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Bronson's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.8 runs. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
