Volleyball Recap: Shrewsbury Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shrewsbury can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wellesley Raiders on Monday. The Colonials were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in November of 2015.

Gabriella Boyers paced Shrewsbury's offense, picking up 11 kills. Boyers got some help from Gracie Hester and her 22 assists. Georgia Roadman controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Shrewsbury has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-3 record this season. As for Wellesley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.

As of now, neither Shrewsbury nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
