Unaka waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rockwood Tigers 50-22. The Rangers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Unaka to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lauren Lund, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 14 points. Michelle Shields was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Unaka has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Rockwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Unaka didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-33 win against Oakdale on the 28th. As for Rockwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 47-43 victory against Mount Pisgah Christian Academy on the 28th.
