Falkner has gone a perfect 5-0 against Houlka recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Eagles are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Houlka took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Falkner, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Falkner got the win against Nettleton by a conclusive 49-26.

Falkner's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emma Mauney, who posted 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Mauney, who scored 13 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Falkner smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, Houlka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Water Valley 45-16.

The win got Falkner back to even at 1-1. As for Houlka, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Falkner against Houlka in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 76-33 victory. In that contest, the Eagles amassed a halftime lead of 37-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
