Farmington had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 36-24 win over the Northridge Knights on Tuesday. This was payback for the Phoenix, who suffered a 38-36 loss the last time these two teams met.

Farmington got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooklyn Romney out in front who posted 11 points and six rebounds. Those 11 points gave Romney a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ellie Dorius, who earned seven points.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Farmington will face off against Viewmont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northridge, they will square off against Ridgeline at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
