Basketball Recap: Gila Ridge Comes Up Short

Gila Ridge saw some tournament action on Thursday. They lost to the Pine Hill Warriors at home by a 51-32 margin.

Leading Pine Hill to victory were Nevaeh Natan and Kirra Smith. Natan posted 13 points and six steals, while Smith had six points.

Gila Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Pine Hill, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Gila Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 36-33 win against Rehoboth Christian on the 20th. As for Pine Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-30 defeat against Chinle on the 20th.
