The East Vikings will head out to challenge the Henderson Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 36 points per game this season.

On Friday, East was able to grind out a solid victory over Oxford, taking the game 28-21.

East got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Cummings out in front who threw for 255 yards and a pair of TDs on only 17 passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Matthew Kendro was Cummings' top target, picking up 143 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Henderson's offense. They were outmatched by Coatesville and fell 33-0. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 169th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 11th).

East's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.0 points over those games. As for Henderson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

East took their victory against Henderson when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 37-13 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
