Baseball Recap: West Allis Central Takes a Loss

West Allis Central managed to slip by Waukesha South the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Blackshirts on Friday, falling 25-2. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row dating back to last season.

West Allis Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Molthen, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Joey Webb was another, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

West Allis Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Waukesha South, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

West Allis Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against New Berlin Eisenhower on the 12th. As for Waukesha South, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-4 win against Waterloo on the 12th.
