Recap: Oroville Tigers vs. Durham Trojans
The Oroville Tigers were the 54-47 winner over the Durham Trojans when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The matchup between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Oroville falling 53-38.
Ethan Broussard and Jantzen Demitrial certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Broussard scored 17 points, while Demitrial scored 17 points.
Among those leading the charge was Derek Mattern, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Doyle, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals.
Oroville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Durham, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Oroville will face off against Pierce at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Durham, they will be playing at home against Los Molinos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Los Molinos focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Wednesday.
