Volleyball Recap: Pueblo West Cyclones vs. Niwot Cougars
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pueblo West can now relate to. They fell just short of the Niwot Cougars by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Cyclones were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.
Pueblo West actually scored more points across those five sets (106-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-20, 18-25, 25-23, 15-13.
Defeat or not, Pueblo West got some senior leadership from Bricelyn Baudino and Jillian Millirons. Baudino had 17 digs and two aces, while Millirons had 11 digs.
