Football Game Preview: Kiefer Trojans vs. Okmulgee Bulldogs

Kiefer has gone a perfect 5-0 against Okmulgee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Trojans will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kiefer has five straight victories, Okmulgee has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Kiefer took their game with ease, bagging a 54-14 win over Heavener. Considering the Trojans have won six contests by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kiefer didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brody Baxter and Dakota Morris. Baxter is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Okmulgee's offense. They were dealt a 46-0 loss at the hands of Bethel on Friday.

Okmulgee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Kiefer, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Everything came up roses for Kiefer against Okmulgee in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 64-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
