Volleyball Recap: Seven Oaks Classical Takes a Loss

After flying high against Victory College Prep on Monday, Seven Oaks Classical came back down to earth. The Firehawks lost 3-0 to the Columbus Christian Crusaders on Thursday. The Firehawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-10, 25-20.

Seven Oaks Classical's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Columbus Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Seven Oaks Classical has already played their next match (against Pleasant View Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Columbus Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Crothersville at 7:15 p.m. on the 30th.
