Soccer Game Preview: Central Catholic vs. Manteca

Central Catholic is 1-8-1 against Manteca since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Central Catholic Raiders will be playing at home against the Manteca Buffaloes at 6:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Monday, Central Catholic didn't have quite enough to beat East Union and fell 3-2. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Athina Anowia wasn't going to let East Union walk away unscathed as she scored both of Central Catholic's goals, bringing her season total up to two goals.

Meanwhile, Manteca fell victim to East Union and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 1-0.

Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-3. As for Manteca, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12-3.
