Volleyball Recap: Amanda-Clearcreek Takes a Loss

Amanda-Clearcreek lost against Zane Trace back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Aces took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 20-25, 25-20.

Grace Martin paced Amanda-Clearcreek's offense, picking up ten kills. Martin got some help from Olivia Davis and her 19 assists. Davis also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Channing Riley, racking up three apiece.

Alexcis Barrows was the offensive standout of the game as she had six digs and two aces. Those two aces gave her a new career-high.

Amanda-Clearcreek's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Zane Trace, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Amanda-Clearcreek has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Bloom-Carroll on the 21st. As for Zane Trace, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Fairfield Union on the 21st.
