Basketball Recap: Kenstin Johnson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Elite Academy over Poinciana Christian Preparatory

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Elite Academy fell just short of Poinciana Christian Preparatory by a score of 58-55.

Elite Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kenstin Johnson, who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Brown, who earned 13 points.

Elite Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Poinciana Christian Preparatory, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Elite Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Olympic Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Poinciana Christian Preparatory, they will face off against Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
