Volleyball Recap: Santa Fe Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Santa Fe won the last time they faced Forest and things went their way on Thursday too. The Raiders came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1.

Santa Fe had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-18.

Santa Fe can attribute much of their success to Morgan Lawson, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Santa Fe pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Forest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Santa Fe will host Calvary Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Forest, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Vanguard at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
