Football Game Preview: Riverdale Ridge Ravens vs. Grand Junction Central Warriors + Official Tickets

The Riverdale Ridge Ravens are taking a road trip to face off against the Grand Junction Central Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Riverdale Ridge has nine straight victories, Grand Junction Central has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Riverdale Ridge proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 68) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Broomfield 16-13. The 16-point effort marked the Ravens' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Roman Garcia went supernova, picking up 82 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 54 yards.

Meanwhile, Grand Junction Central didn't have quite enough to beat Longmont on Saturday and fell 37-35.

Riverdale Ridge's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Grand Junction Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything came up roses for Riverdale Ridge against Grand Junction Central when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-21 victory. In that matchup, the Ravens amassed a halftime lead of 28-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
