Football Recap: Green Bay West Takes a Loss

The Green Bay West Wildcats came up short against the Peshtigo Bulldogs on Thursday and fell 20-8. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zach Sherman was nothing short of spectacular for Peshtigo: he rushed for 132 yards and one TD. The Bulldogs also got a significant boost from Lincoln Nemec, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.

Green Bay West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Peshtigo, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Green Bay West and Peshtigo will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wildcats will challenge rival Menasha at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. Meanwhile, Peshtigo is set to take on their familiar foe Mishicot at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
