Softball Recap: Hanson Memorial Falls to Central Lafourche in First Game of Season

Hanson Memorial unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 14-5 to the Central Lafourche Trojans on Tuesday.

Camren Rochel was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February of 2024. Emma Pitre was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Hanson Memorial has already played their next match (against West St. Mary), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Central Lafourche, they will challenge De La Salle at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
