Volleyball Recap: Mandeville Comes Up Short

Mandeville and Northshore squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mandeville had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Skippers in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Mandeville's defeat dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Northshore, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-12 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Northshore beat Mandeville by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.
