Softball Recap: Chillicothe Takes a Loss

Chillicothe fell victim to Holden and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 6-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.

Chillicothe's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3. As for Holden, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Chillicothe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-5 win against Kirksville on the 13th. As for Holden, they will challenge Nevada at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
