Basketball Recap: Altoona-Midway Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Altoona-Midway extended their road winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from William Stackhouse. The Altoona-Midway Jets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-49 win over the Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans on Tuesday thanks in part to Stackhouse, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 23 games he's played dating back to last season.

Another player making a difference was Joey Lamendola, who posted nine points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2023.

The victory got Altoona-Midway back to even at 1-1. As for Marais des Cygnes Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Altoona-Midway will be taking part in a tournament against Hartford at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marais des Cygnes Valley, they will take on Southern Coffey County in a tournament on Thursday.
