Soccer Game Preview: Wimberley vs. Lockhart

Wimberley is 0-3 against Lockhart since January of 2016 but things could change on Saturday. The Texans will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Lions at 1:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Wimberley is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Jarrell two weeks ago. The Texans and the Cougars finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Lockhart managed to keep up with McNeil until halftime two weeks ago, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lions came up short against the Mavericks, falling 3-0.

Wimberley's draw gives them a new season record of 1-0-1. As for Lockhart, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
