Baseball Recap: Gorham Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Gorham finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They lost 11-1 to the Colebrook Academy Mohawks. The contest marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Gorham's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7. As for Colebrook Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Gorham is set to challenge their familiar foe Littleton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Colebrook Academy will square off against rival Pittsburg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
