Baseball Game Preview: McArthur Mustangs vs. South Broward Bulldogs

McArthur hasn't had much luck against South Broward recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The McArthur Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the South Broward Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

McArthur is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They came up short against Dade Christian, falling 15-2.

McArthur saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carmelo Santos, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, South Broward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 12-6 to Monarch.

Keniel Marrero made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Lane Parris also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

McArthur's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for South Broward, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1.

McArthur couldn't quite get it done against South Broward when the teams last played back in March of 2024 as they fell 6-2. Can McArthur avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
