Volleyball Recap: Marvin Ridge Picks Up 16th Consecutive Victory

Marvin Ridge had already won 15 in a row and they went ahead and made it 16 on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Weddington Warriors. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-7, 25-12.

Marvin Ridge had a senior duo take command as Brooklyn Wilson had 20 digs and two assists and Jillian Young had 12 digs and three aces. Young is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 48 games she's played dating back to last season.

Marvin Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 27-2. As for Weddington, with the defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-5.
