Kenton Ridge had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Roger Bacon Spartans get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Thursday. Considering the Cougars have won 23 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Kenton Ridge's record is now 28-0. As for Roger Bacon, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-13.

Looking ahead, Kenton Ridge will square off against Carlisle at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. Roger Bacon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
