Okoro played all four years on the varsity basketball team and had his jersey retired during a ceremony in April 2019.
In his senior season, Okoro averaged 19.7 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.7 steals while leading McEachern to a 32-0 record en route to state and national titles. Okoro supplied 16 points in the GHSA Class 7A state championship game. He earned second team MaxPreps All-American honors.
In his only season at Auburn, Okoro averaged 12.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists and was named to the second team All-SEC.
